[Please let me know if you don't want to be on
our email list.  Thank you.]

Hello Everyone,

THREE RIDES IN MAY
Weather should be GREAT this month for our 3 Club rides-
The Ride For Kids
Highway 58 to Atascadero
3 Day Ride on Hwy 49.

May 2- Ride 4 Kids  Brain Tumor Fundraiser.
Note from Roy- Let me thank all the Members that are going on this ride.  I know you have to get up real early for this but this is that one day a year where we put aside the "little things" that bother us and do what we can to help these Kids with brain tumors and we hope that the Kids we saw last year are still alive so we can see them this year.
If you are going on this ride please let me know ASAP how much you are able to
contribute so I can give the total to owner Craig Adams since he will match us up to $5,000.

This past year I have been very busy at work and in my private life and I have not had free time to find ways to raise money for the Ride For Kids.

DEPARTING AT 7 AM at the Camarillo Shell station located on
Los Posas Rd. and the 101 and then take PCH to 10 to 405 and off at Western.
We donated $600 in 2009, our goal is to raise more in 2010.   Let me know when you donate to RFK so I can give you a $20 Gift Card  for Cal Coast Motorsports to THANK YOU.  They will have donuts, bread and drinks for us.
All checks should be made out to
RIDE FOR KIDS.
There will be free donuts, pastries and drinks at the Honda HQs and
The Victor McLaglen Motor Corps Drill Team will perform at 9am then off we go on the police-escorted ride at 10:00!
Here is a RFK video, thanks Lou.

Our Club donations-
2009-$600
2008-$1,800
2007-$1,800
2006-$10,400

May 8- THIS IS A SATURDAY RIDE SINCE SUNDAY IS MOTHER'S DAY and I will have our new Club shirts with me.
Bill's Hwy 58 Loop

This is a LONG ride so we will meet at 8:15am in Ojai and depart at 9am
Meet at
Full of Beans
11534 N Ventura Ave
Ojai   View Full of Beans location here.
We will NOT meet at Carl's Jr.
Enjoy this ride up the 33 to Hwy 58 west where we will be riding along the
Carrizo Plain National Monument and see some wildflowers then west to the
101 South back home.  We will probably take 192 back to avoid the 101 traffic.
The first gas stop is in Taft, 100 miles from Ojai so some of you might want to top off at the Circle K in Ojai just 1/2 mile south of Full of Beans.

May 22,23,24- This is our annual 3 day ride called the "Welcome to Summer Ride".  It was too hot when we did it in June 2009 so we opted for May.  We will be doing a good portion of Hwy 49, the Gold Country road along the west side of the Sierras.   Please bring walking shoes.
SATURDAY
Meet at 7:30

Then a tour of the world famous California Historical Landmark No. 916 Forestiere Underground Gardens in Fresno for those that want to take it with me.  The 1 hour tour is $12 with the last tour starting at 2.
Our first night will be spent in Mariposa and we are trying to have everyone stay at the
Mariposa Lodge
5052 Highway 140
1-800-966-8819
Because this is a Saturday night the rooms are $139 so maybe you can get a  2 bed room and split it, that is what I have done. Super 8 is right across the street and their rooms start at $89.
Either way, BOOK ALL YOUR ROOMS AS SOON AS YOU CAN and let me know when you do so I can add you to the list below.  Then join us for a relaxing walk around town.
